Drappier Rose Brut
Producer: Champagne Drappier
Grape variety: Pinot Noir
A stunning rosé champagne from the Drappier house, made through the maceration of 100% Pinot Noir grapes. This champagne has an intense flavour of deep red fruits. It is a dry champagne, with red fruit flavours of strawberries and raspberries, not too long on the palate. Rumour has it that Drappier's rosé is also enjoyed at the Elysée Palace in Paris!
This rosé is produced by leaving the juice with the skins for 3 days and after bottling, it has been aged for 2-3 years. It is fresh, with notes of stone fruits. Makes for a great aperitif with salmon or grilled lamb.
Drappier's cellars date back to the 12th Century. Michel's grandfather is credited with planting the very first Pinot Noir grapes in the area, which caused a great deal of controversy at the time, but this is now the dominant grape variety in the South of Champagne.
All Real Champagne Company champagnes are expertly sourced to showcase the quality and variety to be found off the beaten track in the Champagne region - where small producers create exquisite, limited-edition champagnes from their own grapes, maintaining carefully crafted techniques which have often been passed down through several generations of the same family. We find the hidden gems for you to enjoy.

Dosage: 7.5 g/l
Very well structured, with exemplary purity of red fruits. A striking Champagne on the nose offering similar sensations on the palate. Warm and satiny, lightly spiced with balanced hints of stoned fruits thanks to a lovely freshness in the finish.
Ideal as an aperitif. Perfect with antipasti, salmon en papillotte, grilled pink lamb, strawberry salad.
Serve at 7°C.
We are one of the rare Maisons to develop rosé Champagne by bleeding. A few days of maceration give this wine a sustained color, marked by Pinot Noir.
The nose reveals notes of red fruits and violet with a slightly spicy touch. Low dosage, the mouth, remarkably expressive, is a great freshness with a subtle hint of liquorice in the final.
